Tahoe Artesian WaterSingle Source - Natural Water
Tahoe Artesian Water embodies the unique taste of the snow capped mountains that surround Lake Tahoe. If you have visited the region before, you will immediately recognize that our water is light, soft, and smooth. It is very different than other waters on the market. The family-owned protected aquifer produces naturally high pH water that is exclusively used in Tahoe Artesian. The water is not sold or mass produced for other bottlers. Every sip of Tahoe Artesian Water is an authentic symbol of this beautiful region.
High in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the winter snow falls cold, crisp and clean. During the spring the snow begins to melt and travels through hundreds of feet of granite to aquifers deep below the mountains. Pressure begins to build in these aquifers until water surges back to the surface under its own pressure.
Tahoe Artesian Water™ is only bottled in small runs so that every bottle of water tastes as great as the day it first surged up from our deep artesian aquifer.
Tahoe Artesian Water™ is a gift from nature proudly shared with the local community, and a premier choice for over 14 million Norther Californians. Why purchase water shipped half way around the world when some of the highest quality water is right in your own back yard?
Tahoe Artesian Water has an amazingly high pH of 8.7. Unlike other brands, Tahoe Artesian is 100% natural, absolutely nothing is added. Mother nature is our proprietary blend!
pH is a chemistry term that is used to define and quantify the number of hydrogen ions. It means “the power of Hydrogen.” Substances with a pH level less than 7 are considered acidic, while substances with a pH level greater than 7 are considered alkaline. High pH levels indicate and increased capacity to neutralize acids in the body.
Perhaps the most amazing attribute of Tahoe Artesian Water, is that it has the natural benefit of a high pH while still tasting soft, light and smooth. While most high pH waters have a strong mineral taste that is displeasing to the pallet, Tahoe Artesian maintains a strong pH and soft taste reflecting the delightful terroir of the Lake Tahoe region.

Our team is deeply and passionately committed to developing an innovative supply, production, and distribution model that minimizes environmental impact while providing the consumer with an exceptional product.
HOW DO WE COMPARE?
A leading comparable bottle of artesian water requires 250g of CO2 per bottle. Our bottle only requires 6.9g of CO2 per bottle.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
First, our efforts to minimize CO2 begin at our production facility where the natural pressure of our artesian aquifer gently propels water upwards into our stainless steel storage tank. This process occurs without the use of electricity and is carbon neutral and completely sustainable. Because the aquifer is artesian, we only receive and collect the excess water, allowing the aquifer to remain full and in balance with the environment. Second, we utilize existing local partners to minimize the carbon released during the transportation of our packaging.
Finally, we are committed to innovation and and change. Everyday we take steps to reduce environmental impacts. We know that the steps we are taking now will insure that Tahoe Artesian Water is a lasting brand that Californians will be proud of.
OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
We are proud that 90% of our packaging originates within 120 miles of our facility, and, we continue to seek innovative ways to reduce the environmental impact of our bottles. While our current (PET) bottle is both recyclable and reusable, we will soon phase it out in favor of already-recycled (rPET) bottles. We look forward to continuing to develop an exceptional and environmentally-conscious product. .
Our family has always known there was something special about this our water. Tahoe skiers and snowboarders who stopped at our family’s lodge outside Truckee would rave about our water’s exceptional taste and fill up their water bottles before continuing on their journey.
